I nearly came to selling mine; but I have a good feeling about keeping it and riding the wave for a bit longer. I use Mauku and Wordply a good deal. The spell checker extension in microB also helps a good deal too.
omweather, canola, isearch-edit, mauku, maemoFTP, mirage, wordpy, maemopad, that's really about all I have installed, 'sides a few games.
Mine's mostly used for on-the-spot blogging, and for internet uses where I don't feel like unhooking my laptop (which is tethered to an external kb/mouse and monitor). I also use the internet radio on it CONSTANTLY, and have been using Canola in the car ALOT more since the N810 came with the car mount.
Personally, I think if RTcomm was built in and the whole UI 'prettified', and a desktop-syncing application introduced (for bookmarks and media, only), it would be a HUGE step.
IMO, PIM and Office aren't necessary, and dilute the Nseries moniker.
we had this conversation in amsterdam. carlo said it best. Eseries has a problem where they think you don't have a life after 5 pm and Nseries has a problem where they think you don't have a full time job. concentrating on features is all well and good, but out right not including basic fundamentals like a PIM and Office is suicide for a lot of people.
It would be great if the browser were stout enough to use a completly offline version of Google Apps or similar. That would get around the Office/PIM thing nicely. I agree with the desktop/online syncing of media and bookmarks. This kinda of device should really be pushing that aspect of mobile use way ahead of other devices.
I suppose it depends on how you view the Tablet. To me, it's designed to work side-by-side with a handset, in which case PIM is redundant.
In the same vein, Office doesn't really fit the idea of a media tablet, which is essentially what the Nseries moniker labeled it as. Personally, i really think they applied the Nseries label FAR too early. It should have stayed a separate product line at least until now, possible into the next iteration, whatever that looks like.
Getting a car mount might help out the N800's case... If I'm at home or work I have a PC or laptop nearby. I have used it a few times for internet radio, for example when i am working outside, and that's been nice. I have my cell phone to do that too but the battery doesn't last as long.

Really? Why not? I'd be interested if you do decide to sell.

Interesting, as I've recently found a few apps that have made me fall back in love with my N810

The GPS is worthless, IMO, as is the email.
